Global Growth is Back
In this week’s edition of the LifePro Asset Management Market & Portfolio Review, our head of Wealth Management, Robert Reaburn walks through the short term market setup as we head into the end of the year as well as some of the long term dynamics that will likely influence the market direction in 2020.
Specifically, Robert will be focused on short term investor positioning in the open futures market to help gauge the level of investor exuberance after the recent run-up of the stock market to record highs. Second, we will be walking through how some of the recent decisions by the U.S. Federal Reserve and other major central banks from around the world may impact the global economic growth trajectory in 2020.
We are also going to review the health of the U.S. credit markets and the impact that recent interest rate policy decisions are having on the cost of capital for both investment grade and non–investment grade companies in the U.S. Lastly, are going to review the recent breakdown of the U.S. dollar how that may impact asset allocation decisions across client portfolios as well as the risk that inflation may be underpriced as a result.
